UM-HCH Internal Medicine Faculty and Residency Practice - North Ridge

The University of Miami at Holy Cross (UM-HCH) Internal Medicine Faculty and Residency Practice sees patients Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. with the exception of Wednesday afternoons, when the faculty and residents are in academic conferences.

Established in 2015, the UM-HCH Internal Medicine Residency Program serves as a pioneer in the future of graduate medical education, and was created to narrow the void of primary care physicians in underserved areas.

The residents practice at two locations under the supervision of experienced UM-HCH faculty and provide a wide range of patient-centered services, including primary care, preventative health, well-women examinations, and internal medicine.

To schedule an appointment at the North Ridge practice, located at 5601 N. Dixie Highway in Oakland Park, call 954-491-2160. To schedule an appointment at the Wilton Manors office, located at 1402 NE 26th St., call 954-563-3767.

Meet our faculty advisors:
Frederick Williams, MD

"There is a strong emphasis on ambulatory medicine in our training program, and the Wilton Manors and North Ridge practice sites allow us to provide outstanding patient care while training future primary care and specialty physicians for South Florida."

- Dr. Frederick Williams
Program Director of the UM-HCH Internal Medicine Residency Program & Assistant Director of Graduate Medical Education for the Miami Miller School of Medicine

"This program has elevated the medical care delivered to South Florida residents by transitioning a well-established hospital into an academic institution. As a lifelong resident of Broward County and a practicing internist for 38 years, I am honored to teach and work alongside these fine young physicians."
